Jay began his tenure with FIG after successfully completing degrees in Psychology and Business Management at The University of Mississippi and Texas Western University. He was introduced to the FIG family in January 2005 by his father, a Registered Investment Advisor and top annuity producer. Having family in the business, Jay understands what top producers go through every day and this perspective has allowed Jay to focus on developing unique marketing strategies for his advisors first and product and sales solutions after. Over the years this approach has allowed him to assist many producers to reach levels of multimillion dollar production while allowing Jay the ability to narrow his focus to a select group of top advisors and producers across the country. This smaller group of top producers allows him to have a greater impact on their production and become closer with their business.  Acting as a trusted resource and marketing advisor to a few and watching their success is what gives Jay the greatest joy in this business.  In 2007 Jay moved to Scottsdale, Arizona and opened a satellite FIG office to help develop the western market and better serve FIG advisors in the region. In 2009, he was selected to join the management team at FIG and became the manager of the Scottsdale office. With this new role Jay will continue to support the top producers he works with but also assist with developing new annuity marketers, business opportunities in the region, and new marketing initiatives to the already extensive FIG platforms.

Jay is outdoorsman and avid cyclist.  He races mountain and road bikes semi professionally and enjoys endurance events.  His wife Melissa and their children Dylan and Abigail reside in Cave Creek, AZ.

Jay currently holds life and health licenses in NC and AZ and is currently studying for his Series 65 license which he will sit for in December.  In January of 2011, Jay will begin his studying for his MSFS and CHFC designations.
