Meet Jeff Bucher

Jeff Bucher co-founded Citizen Advisory Group in 2006. Prior to forming CAG, Mr. Bucher worked his way up to Regional Manager of a large insurance company. His success catapulted him to opening his own firm where he felt independence and unbiased advice would better serve his clients. By being independent and utilizing the entire universe of investment opportunities and insurance carriers clients can feel comfortable they are getting the industry's best from Mr. Bucher and his CAG team.

He has attained a Series 65 License allowing him to serve as an Investment Advisor Representative along with his insurance licences. Because of his daily involvement with the staff, each and every one of CAG's clients is a beneficiary of the experience and wisdom he has gained through his many years within the industry.

Professionally, Mr. Bucher is a member of the National Ethics Bureau. He is also on the Advisory Board for the Senior Market Advisor, the leading senior market industry magazine.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, Mr. Bucher accepted an athletic scholarship to The Ohio State University where he earned four Varsity Letters and is a lifetime member of Ohio State's Varsity "O" Alumni Association. He finished his career with the 15th most victories in Ohio State history and was named an Honorable Mention All-American. Mr. Bucher then completed his coursework at Spring Arbor University, a private Christian college in Michigan where he earned a bachelor's degree in Management and Organization Development.

Mr. Bucher is a lifelong resident of Northwest Ohio and is married with one child. He and his family are members of Cedar Creek Church in Perrysburg, Ohio. He also volunteers on the local YMCA's Christian Emphasis Committee.
