In his role at FIG, Brian is responsible for the\noverall business operations and works to integrate internal processes to\nmaximize the effectiveness offered to partnered independent financial\nprofessionals. He also is the managing partner of Alphastar Capital Management,\nan SEC-registered investment advisory firm, and a partner in Barnabas Capital,\na wholesale broker-dealer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Brian has also served on various industry committees and advisory boards, such as the Board of Directors for NAFA and the Leadership Council for Great American Insurance Group.

NAFA\u2019s Insurance Marketing Advisory Council (IMAC) established the award in honor of Bo Johnson. Bo was well known for his energy, enthusiasm, and love for the fixed annuity industry. As a proud member of NAFA, Bo served on the board for several years and was the original IMAC chair. His life was cut much too short when he died in 2009 after a courageous fight with cancer. He exhibited the attributes outlined in the award created in his name and left a very positive and lasting imprint on the annuity industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
