    Life Insurance Sales Idea: Could your client utilize SLAT?

    Do you remember what started happening January 2011? I am sure most reading this will know the fact that this was the date 10,000 Baby Boomers turned 65, and this has continued every day and will continue to for another 14 years.

    This of course proved to be a tremendous opportunity for annuity sales, and it will continue to be that way. What most people don’t realize is the huge opportunity it offers on the life insurance side.

    What happens now that we are five years down the road from the date that these folks starting turning 65 in such large numbers? Every single one of them that has a qualified retirement account is being forced to take withdrawals from the government, and they will be forced to continue to do this for the rest of their life.
